Almond Milk

Prep time – 2 hours

1 cup of raw almonds

1 litre boiled water slightly cooled

1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

Soak the nuts in a bowl of boiled water for 2 hours or overnight. Drain and place in the blender with the litre of water. Pulse for 30 seconds -1 minute. Strain either in a nut bag or with a strainer. Keep the meal in the fridge for up to 6 days.

You can use the almond meal to make another batch of milk only instead of adding 1 litre of water use 750mls.
